Over time, many new products are produced with modern technology, beautiful designs and low prices, so that some traditional craft villages can not be competitive enough.

Mekong Smile Tour has realized that river tourism has also significantly contributed to the maintenance and development of traditional craft villages in the direction of stability and efficiency.

For that reason, we have tried to promote and preserve the traditional craft villages by integrating various craft villages, such as brick kilns, Coconut candy factories, Rice Noodle factories,… into itineraries exploring the Mekong Delta.

During the tour, visitors will always be introduced by a guide who is knowledgeable about the origin of craft villages, the production stages of making a finished product.

Besides preserving traditional values, when craft villages create specialties by hand, visiting craft villages also promotes local images to domestic and foreign tourists. That will be the motivation for artisans to continue to preserve and develop the craft village
