Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: 

Pick up: At 12:30 P.M., our local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to a fantastic homestay.

Explore the off-beaten-track by bike: At 2:00 P.M, take a quality bike to explore an off-the-beaten-track area. Just cycle slowly and feel the Mekong Delta’s breaths, then you’ll encounter some tropical fruit farms owned by the locals.

Small local farm: Continually moving by bike, you’ll head to a small local farm for many activities, like a local Vietnamese.

Coconut juice: When you arrive at the farm, you can enjoy a fresh and cool coconut juice. You can learn how to open a coconut by yourself as a local.

Seine fishing: Right after that, you and your team can put on a lovely pajama and jump into a ditch to seine fishing activity in a very traditional way with a special net.

Grill the fish: When you finish your “hunting” time, you can turn your “trophy” into a yummy dish full of aroma from smoke by grilling it in a bunch of coconut leaves (one of the most special and unique cooking techniques that you can only find in the Mekong Delta).

Dinner: Enjoy grilled fish wrapped in rice paper with lots of herbs

Day 2:

Floating market: Our local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and then head to the Cai Rang floating market by  wooden boat. On the way to Cai Rang floating market, you will see a beautiful sunrise reflecting on the river. It is interesting that you can see real local activities such as washing  clothes and catching fish. Arriving in Can Tho floating market, you will know the history, cultural values, bustling trading scene, and amazing people there. Don’t forget to enjoy “floating noodle soup”, a cup of Vietnamese milk coffee onboard, and fresh pineapple on a pineapple boat.

Local traditional rice noodle factory: After savoring rice noodle soup at the floating market, we will stop at a local traditional rice noodle factory to see how to make Hu Tieu – rice noodle step by step. Have fun when you try making noodles guided by the noodle expert! Enjoy a special crispy homemade “rice noodle pizza” that you cannot buy anywhere else.

Small canal: Relax on the boat cruising through the green canal and take some photogenic pictures.

Cacao farm: Keep going to the unique cacao farm in Can Tho. First, you walk around to see different kinds of colorful cacao fruits. Then, you learn how to make chocolate step by step, from fresh fruit to yummy dark chocolate. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a chocolate drink and dark chocolate made by Mr. Ca Cao – the owner of the farm. It’s fantastic that you can savor cacao wine and hear the story of the cacao farm, which has existed for more than 60 years.

Cooking class: Go to the local market to get every necessary ingredient  for cooking with a friendly host.

Learning new cooking techniques and Vietnamese dish recipes under the instruction of an experienced host, then enjoy your excellent meal with your team.

Finish: Finish the 2 days 1 night tour.
